SVdP Monetary Water Drive

This summer, St. Vincent de Paul will hand out over 3,250 bottles of water each day to people seeking refuge and services during Arizona's most intense heat. That totals 23,000 bottles every week.

Meeting that need takes more than good intentions. While SVDP often purchases water in bulk, spending over $3,000 a week, it's the generosity of our community that helps keep the supply flowing.

$10 = 58 bottles (water for one meal service at a transitional shelter)
$20 = 116 bottles (water for a family of 4 for a week)
$50 = 290 bottles (water for an afternoon of dining room heat relief)
$100 580 bottles (a day's worth of water for SVDP's water truck)

Without the water donations, people in need are at risk of dehydration or worse, heat-related illness that can quickly turn deadly. In 2025, Maricopa County Department of Public Health recorded 430 confirmed heat-related deaths, a decrease from the 608 deaths in 2024.

Help SVDP offer water relief to vulnerable Arizonans. Checks or cash can be dropped off in the white SVDP box located in the vestibule.
