In the Gospel, Jesus calls us to live as people of light: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Faith lights the way when we allow Christ’s light to guide our lives and be shared with the world. Our faith is not meant to be hidden but placed on a lampstand—shining brightly so others may encounter Christ through us.
When we live out our faith through acts of love, generosity, and service, others come to know God’s goodness through us.
