2010-2011 Schedule

This is an interactive program that focuses on fellowship as well as developing a student's faith. If a student begins the program in 9th grade and continues all the way through high school they will have gone through the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church. Our teachings are interactive and allow the teens to ask questions at any time.

The teens will also spend time doing social activities. These range from water fun to dinner to other appropriate activities decided by the teens.

Additionally, time will be spent on issues that teens deal with on a daily basis. These nights allow for us to help the teens make decisions in there everyday life.

We will try to go on at least one weekend retreat per year. This is a chance to help the teens by taking them away from their everyday environment in order to focus on developing a strong prayer life.

We also have a weekly Bible Study that meets on Saturday mornings from 11:00 AM - Noon in conjunction with Junior Legion of Mary. This Bible Study allows the teens to learn how the Bible influences their everyday life and Junior Legion of Mary helps nurture a relationship with our Blessed Mother.

The youth program is run by a group of officers who are part of the youth program. These officers are students who were voted on by the rest of the teens. They meet with the youth minister and Father Hoorman on a monthly basis in order to plan events for the rest of the youth group.

The Youth Ministry Program does not prepare your child for any sacraments.  If your High School student needs to receive any sacraments, please see the Children's Initiation section of the website.

Any questions, please contact Bonnie Vance or Bill Price.
