Reflections with Tina Glenn

Cor ad Cor

Cor ad Cor is a shortened version of “Cor ad Cor Loquitur,” a Latin phrase meaning “Heart speaks to Heart.” Cor ad Cor Loquitur was the episcopal motto of Saint John Henry Cardinal Newman. This phrase came from a letter by Saint Francis de Sales, written to one of his spiritual directees. Cor ad Cor is the premise behind the name “Two Hearts Spiritual Direction.” The primary two hearts are the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. As a spiritual director, Tina must first remain in relationship with each of those beautiful two hearts. From there flows Tina’s ministry as her heart speaks with the hearts of others with the hope of drawing other hearts closer to the hearts of Jesus and Mary.

Tina Glenn is a certified Spiritual Director, formed by the Oblates of the Virgin Mary at the Lanteri Center for Ignatian Spirituality, in Denver, Colorado. She has a dual bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education, with an emphasis in emotional handicaps. Tina has also completed formation in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and spent many wonderful years as catechist to children ages 3 through 14.

Tina married her high school sweetheart; she and Jeff moved to Ahwatukee in 1987 and have been parishioners at Corpus Christi Catholic Church since 1995. Their three grown sons were raised at our parish.

Tina has experienced firsthand the freedom that comes from accepting Jesus‘ invitation to redeem and restore her woundedness. She deeply desires to facilitate others’ growth in their own personal relationship with our loving Savior.

Tina offers opportunities for a morning or evening of reflection with an occasional longer day session. Please watch the bulletin, e-newsletter, or events page on our website for additional details and sign-ups for upcoming opportunities.
